Dame Judi Dench - Patron "I am delighted to be Patron of the Campaign for St George's. This wonderful church, so rich in history, is hugely important to London. Anyone who has ever visited the church will know what a beautiful building it is, both visually and acoustically, and will understand our enthusiasm to restore it to its former glory. I thank you for your support as we strive to raise the £2.5million needed." Dame Judi Dench, CH

Roderick Leece - The Rector "The renewal of St George's Hanover Square is upon us. This is our opportunity to refresh and revitalise the beautiful building as a place of inspiration and service, both for our own generation and for those who come after us. Music is as important to St George's now as it was when Handel sat in his own pew. This is reflected in the high calibre of music making by our renowned choir, and our partners from the London Handel Festival, the Royal College of Music and Music in Mayfair. With your support the new organ, built in traditional style, will grace its glorious, historic case with a flexible instrument, full of charm and character - a unique treasure for London to enjoy and share." The Reverend Roderick Leece Mark Hewitt - Chairman "I was pleased to take on the role of Chairman of the Campaign for St George's so that I can help to ensure that our church remains a beacon in Central London for worship and culture. As a communicant, I believe that I have a responsibility, with my fellow St George's family members, to make certain that St George's is enjoyed by the generations that follow, whether they come to worship, to enjoy splendid music or simply to escape, momentarily, from the pressures of modern life. Our fundraising challenge is ambitious but vital and I hope that you will be able to help us to preserve and enhance this most wonderful church." Mark Hewitt
